Harry Potter has been a favorite for kids everywhere. What better a theme for Halloween than Harry Potter? The school for wizardry has a lot of excitement in every chapter. If you are looking for some good recipe ideas, you have found a good place to start. Below are some easy recipes that are great for Harry Potter fans and are something your kids will love. You could even let them help you with these fun food ideas.

Witches Marshmallow Brownies

•	1 box of Duncan Brownie mix
•	Eggs
•	Vegetable oil
•	Marshmallow spread
•	Chocolate icing

Make your brownies according to the box, let them cool, and prepare your icing. You will need to heat your marshmallow spread so it will spread easily on your brownie. After coating it with marshmallow then top it with the chocolate icing and it’s ready to serve.

Magical Ice-cream Cookies

•	Big chocolate chip cookies
•	Chocolate Ice-cream
•	M&Ms chocolate candies

Put your chocolate ice cream on top of one of your cookies and then top it with another cookie as if you were making a sandwich. Stick M&Ms in your ice cream and it is ready to eat.

Hogwarts’s Banana Cheesecake Pudding

•	Bananas
•	Cream cheese 8 oz
•	Sweetened condensed milk
•	2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
•	Vanilla wafers
•	Cool whip
•	Milk

Make your banana pudding according to the box. In a separate bowl, add your cream cheese (softened), small can of condensed milk, and one bowl of cool whip and whip with a beater until well blended. Then add your pudding and blend it all together until blended well. Using a large serving bowl, you will want to layer your bowl with banana’s and vanilla wafers. You pour pudding and layer it again until all pudding is layered. Top it with bananas and wafers and your pudding is ready to serve.

Hagrid’s Deviled Eggs

•	1 to 2 dozen large white eggs
•	Salt
•	Salad dressing
•	Mustard
•	Paprika
•	Cilantro

You will need to boil your eggs in salt water until fully cooked. The salt water helps to peel your eggs with ease. After you peel all your eggs, you will want to cut each egg in half, putting all of the yolks in a bowl. After all your eggs are cut you will need to smash up your yolks until is well crumbled. You then add about one or two heaping tablespoons of salad dressing and about two small squirts of mustard. Add a dash of paprika and blend until well blended. You then can put all your mixture in your eggs, filling all egg halves. Then top each egg with a small piece of fresh cilantro and sprinkle paprika.

All of these are simple to make recipes and easy to serve for any Halloween event. These are my kid’s favorite recipes and I am positive all kids everywhere will enjoy. Spice up your Halloween with these fun ideas and go online if you are looking for some more. Harry Potter fans no matter what age can make these simple recipes.

Offer up a simple and fun meat tray for your Halloween party by creating a meat skull and platter. This totally creepy display is super simple and definitely freaky enough to give a little fright to hungry onlookers. The great thing about this platter is that it is super simple and offers a nice alternative to the sweet and treats mostly served at Halloween festivities. You can compliment this dish with bread rolls, food dyed mayonnaise- think blood red or booger green mayo, and some veggies. It makes a complete meal or a simple snack for kids and adults as well and requires very little preparation.

Ingredients:

Plastic Skull
Cream Cheese
Meats and Cheeses (enough for 4-12 people)
Green Olives

Directions:

Taking an inexpensive plastic skull, slather on some cream cheese, apply a layer of thinly sliced, flesh-colored meats, place green olives into the eye sockets, and that’s it- you’ve got a creepy centerpiece for your Halloween party.

Delicious Halloween appetizers are really what makes the party. And these Barbecued Black Bat Wings are always a hit whenever I make them for a Halloween party, and they are super easy to make too. All it takes is a little black food coloring added to the barbecue sauce recipe to give the color on these “bat wings” a creepy look for a very yummy Halloween appetizer. (I have even cheated a few times buying ready made wings, and just adding the black BBQ sauce and baking until hot, and they were still a hit… shh don’t tell!)

Barbecued Black Bat Wings Ingredients:

* 4 pounds chicken wings
* 1 lb. margarine
* 4 tsp. salt
* 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
* 1/2 c. vinegar
* 2 tsp. black pepper
* 1/2 lemon
* 5 tbsp. honey
* 2 cups ketchup
* Salt
* Black pepper
* Black food coloring

Barbecued Black Bat Wings Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Boil the chicken wings for twenty minutes in a large pot. While the wings are cooking, prepare the sauce. Melt margarine and add rest of ingredients, add enough black food colorings to the sauce to make it black looking. Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer 20 minutes.

Drain the wings well and add them to the sauce and toss to coat evenly, poking the wings liberally with a fork. Bake for 20 minutes, then increase the temperature to 450 degrees. Toss the wings in the sauce again to coat evenly. Bake until the sauce is thickened and slightly blackened, flipping the wings over occasionally, about another 10 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature.

This Halloween spaghetti dinner will definitely surprise your guests when they see eyeballs staring up at them. It’s all in good fun though, and the eyeballs are actually small meatballs with olives for eyes. It will surely be a Halloween dinner to remember for everyone. This Halloween dinner dish is perfect for little kids as well anytime of the year. Its fun to make and yummy to eat and little kids will enjoy being able to play with their food just a bit before eating it all up!

Gross Halloween Spaghetti Ingredients:

2 lbs. lean ground beef or turkey
1 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 eggs
1 tbsp. fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried
1 7-oz. jar pimiento-stuffed olives
1 26-oz. jar prepared pasta sauce
1 lb. spaghetti
1 tbsp. olive oil

Gross Halloween Spaghetti Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix the ground meat, bread crumbs, ketchup, eggs and basil in a large bowl. Using the meat mixture, form about 30 small meatballs.

3. To make the eyeballs, press an olive into each meatball, pimiento side out. Place the eyeballs in a baking dish, cover with the pasta sauce, and bake for 45 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water. Drain and rinse the spaghetti and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil to prevent strands from sticking together. Put it on a platter or in a large serving bowl.

5. Spoon the eyeballs onto the spaghetti, irises up, and spoon the pasta sauce around them. Makes 10 servings.
